Jan Feiling is a passionate cyberneticist and AI expert with an entrepreneurial mindset. The first two and half years at Porsche he pushed innovations in the connected car department on the fast lane by intensively collaborating with start-ups and helped to reinvent Porsche to save its future in our digital world. In parallel he did his PhD in fundamental mathematical optimization and AI research.

He is currently working in a company building unit within Porsche Digital to address untapped business opportunities. He continues to work on the reinvention of Porsche by tackle these opportunities with a beginner mindset and act with the speed of a start-up or even faster.

His personal goals are to develop digital products to make life more efficient, more sustainable or just simpler. Moreover, one of his lifelong goals are to decode the world and understand the complex network dynamics to identify his impact to make the world a better place.

Born in the Netherlands to two entrepreneurs, she grew up within her parents’ travel start-up. In her teens, she spent the summer peeling tulip bulbs with her friends at the local farm and, having first tried it at age 8, became an avid sailor.

In 2011, sailing (and tulips) were abandoned to study International Business instead. Putting theory into practice, she set up a non-profit NGO together with a friend, which shut down after 2 years due to difficulties in further scaling their operations. Switching gears, she then pursued a degree in Finance and Private Equity in London, where she was recruited out of the classroom.

In 2015, Stephanie started working at Columbia Lake Partners, a new venture debt fund. Here, she screened SaaS companies after raising the first institutional money and exercised her love for numbers in financial analyses and tailoring debt structures for new portfolio companies. She was introduced to multiple Notion portfolio companies during these years which led to a co-investment in Brightpearl and deep admiration for the operational expertise of the Notion team.

In 2018, Notion adopted her into their community of hard-working and fun colleagues. There, her role is to find disruptive tech companies with special focus on the Benelux and DACH region.

An expert on Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Strategic Leadership, Giulio is full professor at Pacifico Business School, Lima, Perú and part-time professor at ESADE, Barcelona, Spain. He also works for companies, academic and not-for-profit institutions, like CCL (Belgium), SDA Bocconi (Italy), Telefonica (Spain, Argentina, Brazil, Guatemala), GE (General Electric) Europe, Navozyme (Singapore), Nike and Megafon (Russia), BIC (France), Parexcelence (India) and Globis (Japan).

Giulio started his career as a patent attorney for chemical plants in Lugano, Switzerland, deepening his interest in Innovation, now consolidated with years of teaching Design Thinking programme for AI/ Big data. He also has an MBA, and a PhD in Management from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, and is involved in research projects on Machine Learning and CEO mindset with IESE Business School. He has also published in leading publications like Marketing Intelligence and  Planning, Journal of Non-Profit and Public Sector Marketing etc.

His vast experience on Big Data/AI springs from his work on location-system behavioural analysis and time perception project at Telefonica. He has also participated in the programme on AI for business at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and is currently setting a start-up delivering Artificial Intelligence services.

Lars Vestergaard leads Market Connect of Oracle for Startups in EMEA. Prior to joining Oracle in 2015, Vestergaard worked in related IT, Telecom and Market Research roles of which 11 years were with IDC in London where he led all Mobile communication research in EMEA. He launched the enterprise mobility practice for IDC in 2000 and grew that practice to be a recognized authority worldwide as keynote speaker, investment banking advisor, vendor and telco strategy advisor as well as author of technology white papers. In addition to his corporate work he was Managing Director for a telco software scaleup that got acquired by Spirent Plc and as sales and business development executive for a security software scaleup that got acquired by WMWare Inc.

Laura is the Head of Product at Slimmer AI Sentinels, building AI-driven solutions  for the financial industry. She leads a team of product and tech engineers focused on  delivering game-changing solutions to detect suspicious transactional behaviour. She  believes in a pragmatic and insight-driven culture, combining quantitative data and  in-depth knowledge of customer needs. Laura previously managed products with  millions of active users at Orange. She also shipped MVP’s out of concepts initially  drafted on napkins for young start-ups. Her current focus is to empower the  Sentinels machine-learning and softwareengineering team to bring scalable, future proof solutions to the financial compliance challenges.

Jack joined Keen Venture Partners as an associate after completing his MBA at London Business School in 2018. Previously, he was a financial analyst at Amazon in Seattle and lead investment analysis and financial planning for Amazon’s new retail ventures. Jack also has over 5 years of tech experience in software engineering and product management from Australian banking, where he developed algorithmic trading platforms for Macquarie Group. In addition to his MBA, he holds a BEng in Bioinformatics Hons and BComm in Finance from the University of New South Wales, Australia.

Sarah Porter has launched 21 b2b and b2c technology products in 11 countries since 1996 and has a renowned reputation for taking ideas from concept to market with subsequent significant growth globally.

Emerging tech / AI / Medtech / Singularity / existentialism is where her core experience lies and she has over 20 years of commercial experience.

As a board executive for i2i events (parent company The Guardian Media Group / Apax – Ascential – previously Top Right Group) with the specific remit to rapidly grow the business whilst leveraging operational costs and prepare pre IPO. She sat on the i2i mergers and acquisitions committee identifying, analysing and approaching target businesses and accelerated growth by 22% within 12 months.

Achievements include the launch and acquisition of Money2020 – a leading fintech product. This included negotiation, 3 stage due diligence, its subsequent integration, and the long term geo-adaption into a global portfolio worth over $40m. The launch of World Retail Congress in 10 countries, the re-launch of Cannes Lions festival.

Sarah is a regular keynote speaker on start-ups, business and women / equality related issues and is an ambassador for the Royal Marsden where she champions the use of AI tech in oncology advances.

Marc is the Founder and CEO of Lyra, solving the AI talent shortage by sourcing AI, Data engineers & scientists from the Middle East & Africa. He’s a social entrepreneur with 5+ years of experience in Consulting & Transformation Management with 30+ projects in Analytics, AI & Data Science. Sourcing a talent network of 100+, he’s passionate to help get people out of unemployment  by enabling world class AI, Data engineers & scientists to facilitate employers work with remote AI teams. He has launched the first AI & Data Science bootcamp in MEA. He’s also the founder of Cairo AI, a leading AI community in Egypt. Marc has also participated in the first MIT Deep Technology Bootcamp.

In 2015, Kirill left his corporate job in marketing. He decided that in order to maximise his impact on the world he should either study neuroscience to boost our understanding of the human brain or learn programming to contribute to the development of AI.

He ended up enrolling in the Cognitive Sciences & Technologies program at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow where he got an opportunity to engage into both: use neuroimaging techniques to collect the data from the brain and then build computational models to compare performance of human participants with deep neural networks on visual tasks.

Today Kirill is the Co-Founder and CEO of Purple Gaze, Amsterdam-based startup that leverages Eye Tracking and AI to identify biomarkers of brain disorders in the patterns of Eye Movements data.

Since Jasper started studying artificial intelligence at the University of Amsterdam in 1995, he has been fascinated with human behavior and intelligent automation. After a series of growth adventures with Dutch social network Hyves, online agency Strawberries, fin-tech startup Transparent, and AI startup LookLive Jasper founded BrainCreators together with his former university classmates. At BrainCreators, Jasper’s fascination with people and automation combines into BrainMatter, the platform for intelligent automation of human perception and decision making. BrainCreators recently won the IBM best new ecosystem of the year award and is nominated by the Computable awards in three categories.

Ravit is Partner at Kamet Ventures, leading healthcare innovation. Kamet is a global Venture Builder that incubates, scales and invests in Digital-Health and insure-tech startups. Previously, Ravit Headed Digital Health Innovation at the Israeli Ministry-Of-Health. Before, Ravit co-founded a bio-feedback startup, was a healthcare consultant for MNCs and headed Product, Innovation, BD and R&D for Digital-Health, AI, BioIT and Telecom companies.
